North Shore Volunteers For Seniors
North Shore Volunteers for Seniors (NSVS) is a non-profit society. Established in 1961, it promotes the independence and well-being of elderly and isolated seniors. Since its inception, the organization has grown and changed, adapting to different financial and societal conditions. However, throughout this time it has maintained its original mandate of promoting the independence and well-being of the elderly, in particular isolated seniors on the North Shore.
Natural Trekking
Lois’ vision is to introduce the beauty of the outdoors to all fitness levels. Owned and operated by Lois Tomlinson, Natural Trekking operates year-round tours offering nordic walking, hiking and snowshoeing. Lois has over 30 years of experience in the travel & tour industry travelling to over 60 countries. Her passion is to be active outdoors and she loves to share this passion with others, whether it be here in our local parks or around the world.
Physio2u
Physio2U provides accessible physio for all, with in-home sessions for privacy, comfort and convenience throughout a senior’s recovery. Our staff specializes in treating seniors struggling with mobility and strength issues due to trauma, surgery, neurological, as well as chronic health issues. Our team understands there are two sides of the care equation: the medical and the emotional. We focus on both to ensure an optimal road to recovery for you or a loved one. We come to wherever you need us within the Greater Vancouver and Fraser Valley.
BC Seniors Living Association
British Columbia Seniors Living Association was formed 8 years ago by a group of industry leaders that believed there was not the appropriate representation for the retirement community industry in BC. Our industry needed to organize so as to reflect the evolving needs and desires of seniors within BC BCSLA was formed with the mission to provide leadership and networking opportunities for all members who are committed to innovation, resident choice and excellence.
Hear at Home
Hear at Home is a mobile hearing clinic founded in North Vancouver in 2009. We offer a unique service, providing in-home hearing testing, hearing aid fittings and follow up appointments in the comfort of your own home, care facility or hospital. We believe that by offering individuals hearing tests and hearing aids in their own environments we are able to make an assessment of individuals and “their real life listening needs”.
Seniors One Stop
The Seniors’ One Stop Information Program is a community based non-profit service which supports the independence, dignity and health of the North Shore’s senior population by providing seniors, their families, friends and service providers access to a wide range of public and private resources.

The Services for Seniors Coalition
The Coalition has been operating since 1992 and is the planning table for issues facing seniors and services to seniors on the North Shore. The 40+ member organizations represent a wide spectrum of service providers. We come together as the Coalition to network, plan services and supports strategically, and set priorities and target resources for collaborative action. The Coalition meets the third Tuesday of most months.
